Pilsner - German
Pouring a light copper with a thick white head, this full-bodied Pilsner has a floral aroma accented with notes of lavender and honey. The caramel malts that aide in its robust colour impart a slightly sweet taste that finishes clean with a crisp spicy bitterness.
Lager - Dark
Bread crust, chocolate, nuts and toffee emanate from this Munich Dunkel. With a surprisingly light mouth feel, this unfiltered lager has a dominant malt flavour accented by notes of almonds, toast and a touch of caramel. All which contribute to the well-rounded complexity and depth that this classic German style has to offer.
Blonde / Golden Ale - Other
Lightly dry-hopped for a gentle floral aroma, this American Blonde Ale is light in colour and medium bodied to suit. A simple mix of classic pale malts paired with a mild bitterness impart this beer with drinkability and easy going flavour components.
Smoked Beer
Smoke rises from the white pillowy head of this traditional Bamberg style unfiltered wheat beer. Banana and clove weave through the Beechwood smoked malts as hints of astringency play with the higher carbonation as it dances on your tongue.
Bitter - Extra Special / Strong (ESB)
This West Coast take on the traditional Extra Special Bitter imparts a bright aroma of citrus and grapefruit. A well balanced descent of malt and toffee notes is accompanied by a lasting bitterness that leaves you craving the next sip.
IPA - New England / Hazy
With refreshing pineapple and resinous evergreeen notes, Shiny Things IPA is crisp, juicy, with a gentle bitterness. A generous addition of oats in the grain bill gives a luxurious mouthfeel and a sturdy vessel for the El Dorado, Ekuanot and Simcoe hops to shine through. Shiny!
Wheat Beer - American Pale Wheat
Hibiscus and rose hips combine with Belgian yeast to create a crisp and refreshing wheat ale packed with floral notes, banana, raspberry and a touch of spice.
Bock - Doppelbock
A German style double-strong lager made with Clover Honey and Beechwood Smoked Malt, swinging in at 7.9%.
Pilsner - Other
Pouring gold with a fluffy white head this assertive German Pilsner is made with Weyermann Barke Pilsner malt and a selection of Noble hops. Crisp, clean, with notes of honey, graham cracker, biscuit, and a refreshing and lengthy bitterness, Simple Things is made the way a beer should be... with water, malt, hops, yeast, and time.
Pale Ale - Other
Drinking at a refreshing 4.6%, Vibrant Things is the perfect beer for whatever your sunshine-filled day may bring. This Tropical Pale Ale brings big notes of tangerine, starfruit and fresh citrus to the table and then finishes dry with a refreshing tartness from the addition of dried green mango.
Roggenbier
A distinct aroma of Banana Cream Pie rises from the thick tanned head. Higher carbonation dances on your tongue with notes of clove and banana bread. The rye and wheat create a chewy and malty finish perfect for the colder months ahead.
IPA - American
Made with organic Earl Grey Tea we've been slowly dialing in the level of tea over the years to give this beer (what we think is) the perfect balance of west coast hops, bergamot and a gentle black tea bitterness.
Stout - Coffee
We've teamed up with our friends at Ghost Roasters to create a Cold Brew Coffee Stout. Big chocolate notes and coffee roastiness, finishing super smooth but with enough caffeine kick to keep you up so you can finish Ozark on Netflix.
Märzen
Pouring a beautiful copper with a rich German malt aroma and subtle sweetness, the Steel & Oak Märzen soars upon a delicate balance of Pilsner, Vienna and Melanoidin malts that will remind you of the warmer months ahead.
Lager - Pale
A heavy dose of Mandarina Bavaria hops give this crisp and refreshing German Lager notes of Tangerine and Citrus that will leave you saying, "Gee, thanks Steel & Oak for making Lagers cool again."
Porter - English
Windrose Four Grain Porter has roasted notes with hints of chocolate, caramel and toffee layered over a complex mouthfeel created by oat, rye, wheat and barley malts. This limited release Porter is best enjoyed between 10-13C; although, you're an adult so you can enjoy it however you please.
Blonde / Golden Ale - Other
Locally roasted coffee, sourced from small holder farmers in Ethiopia's Guji Sidama region, provides a rich yet delicate floral aroma with notes of brown sugar, grapefruit and caramel. A German malt base imparts a crisp finish and a subtle biscuit flavour pairing well with the cocoa and roasted flavours that the coffee provides.
Bock - Weizenbock
This strong wheat beer's trademark scent of banana, spice and clove are well portrayed as the aroma emanates from the thick white fluffy head. As the journey continues this medium bodied beer produces a sweet maltiness that is followed by a pleasant note of warm alcohol for a rounded finish. Conditioned for 90 days and coming in at 7.1%.

Juniper berries and northwest hops give this Sahti inspired Ale gin-like notes with a twist of citrus. A complex malt bill of rye, oat and barley malts are followed by a crisp bitterness, not from hops, but from the juniper berries themselves.

IPA - American
Dry hopped with copious amounts of Galaxy, Mosaic and Centennial, Subtropic has big notes of pineapple, papaya, and melon riding along fluffy oats, spelt, and pilsner malt. Subtropic India Pale Ale is like being in a tropical rain forest, picking fruit right off the tree, taking a bite, and then having the clouds open up in a refreshing downpour of juicy goodness.
Farmhouse Ale - Saison
Wild harvested Tasmanian pepper berries and a collection of New Zealand hop varietals contribute notes of fresh cracked pepper, citrus, tropical fruit, lime and lemon zest to this Oceanic inspired Saison. Finishing crisp and dry with a touch of spice.
Wheat Beer - Dunkelweizen
Sour - Other
This kettle soured red lager pours a light amber with notes of peach, apricot and plum followed by a smooth malty backbone and a refreshing tart finish.
Sour - Berliner Weisse
Hard to categorize but easy to drink. This beer was designed for patios and sunny days. A fruity aroma reminiscent of citrus and kiwi blend with a light tartness to give a clean finish and high levels of crushability. A large amount of oat malt contributes a full mouthfeel to this light beer which is balanced by the notes of lemon and lime coming from the carefully selected blend of NW hops and lactobacillus derived tartness.
